God’s Lovingkindness

by Pastor Dave

Psalm 31:16 (NAS) Make Your face shine upon your servant, save me in Your lovingkindness.

Have you ever felt like that? When you are feeling overwhelmed, even desperate, you look toward heaven and cry out, “God please see me and save me”. I have been there more than once; many times, actually. And yes, I cried out to God and He came through, every time. Life can be hard, it can knock you down and then step all over you. But when we fix our eyes on our loving heavenly Father and cry out to Him, He always responds. He always comes through for us.

Jennie and I have had our share of trouble, pain, heartache, stress, and difficulties over the years. We both know what it is to cry, even weep uncontrollably, and we know the comfort, the peace, and the love of God when we cry out to Him. He has never failed us and we know beyond a doubt that He never will fail us because of His great lovingkindness.

I encourage you that when you are hurting, stressed, depressed, confused, and in trouble, to look to your heavenly Father and know He loves you, He sees you, He hears you, and He is willing to save you!

Read this portion of the Psalm and believe it. Read from verse 14 to 16. God’s lovingkindness is waiting to be poured out upon you.
