I will not quote scripture. I will, however, tell you about my Jesus. He saved me from hell. He saved me from myself. He redeemed my soul. There have been three times I could have died (many in my situation did die), yet, He saved me. Satan came to steal, kill and destroy me and Jesus came to give me a full and awesome life (ok, one scripture, John 10:10).
Jesus released me from my past, my mistakes, my bad choices. He released me from my guilt, shame, fears and worries. He filled me with peace, love, confidence and a positive outlook in life. He walks with me through the fire, heartache, pain, confusion, hurt and loneliness. I have never faced anything alone since I asked Jesus into my life. He has promised to never leave me or forsake me (yes, I know, more scripture Deuteronomy 31:6 and Hebrews 13:5).
Jesus loves me. He desires to allow me to work for Him. He cares about me and my life. And what is more amazing, He has worked in, and is still working in, me.
One last thing. Jesus wants to work in your life, too. He wants to make your life better. He wants to assure you of heaven. All you have to do is believe in your heart that He is the Son of God and confess it with your mouth. You will be saved (one last scripture, Romans 10:8-11). It is my prayer you will accept the love of my Savior in your life. You will be forever changed for the best.
