You can’t go it alone

A Word Received by Cindy Phillips

You can’t go it alone. I said it is not good for man to be alone (Gen 2:18). It is bad. A person alone is vulnerable. That is why I tell you not to forsake fellowship with other believers (Heb 10:25). Moses needed Hur and Aaron to win the victory (Ex 17:12). Had he been alone the Israelites would have been defeated. An animal separated from its flock or herd is quick to be destroyed. When the enemy tempts you to sin he will win if he can isolate you. A three-strand cord is hard to break (Ecc 4:12). Two believers with Me in their midst can withstand the enemy. How much more victory will come when many stand together? The gates of hell will not hold back My Church (Matt 16:18). She is stronger because I AM in the midst. The enemy cannot prevail. The Greater One is in you but if you seek to be alone in your sin you are asking the Greater One to stand down. I will allow you to return to your own vomit (Prov 26:11). Why would you choose this? Confess your sin to your brethren and they will help hold you up (James 5:16).
