Do you know what pleases God and are you willing to seek to please Him more than yourself?
Only those who value the Lord and honor Him give any thought to what pleases Him. Only those who put God first will strive to do the things that please the Creator. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. Hebrews 11:6 without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. You have to start with faith. By faith you were saved, through grace (Eph 2:8). While God sent His Son to save the world because of His great love, He is not pleased with the unsaved. Only those who believe in their heart and confess Jesus as Lord with their mouth are able to please God. Those who are saved and then live for Him by the power of the Holy Spirit please the Lord. When you give God first place, and submit to the Holy Spirit’s leading, He is well pleased. Seek God’s will for your life. Seek to please Him first of all. You do this my asking yourself what God would have you do, then do it. This is what you were created for, and when you do this, you will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Phil 4:7).
